Tank Cleaning Tool

The VAMO 2/2.5/5 ejector is a special designed jet pump used to clean out tanks by means of vacuum. The design is specially made for the use on board offshore supply vessels. The ejector is supplied by air from the delivered compressor or water from a large water pump already installed on board. The efficiency of the ejector is strongly depending on the length of the suction hose (short hose high efficiency, long hose low efficiency). For this reason the ejector need to be located in such a way that the distance to the manhole is as short as possible. To ensure high efficiency it is important that the outlet connection is direct to large diameter line directly overboard. A long pipeline after the outlet connection increases the backpressure and reduces the efficiency considerably.
